OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:

This position will be a part of a multi instructor workforce conducting officer training courses in support of US Navy training at the Aegis Training Readiness Center (ATRC) in Dahlgren, VA.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Prepare and deliver modifications to existing training materials
• Provide monitoring and course evaluation
• Accomplish additional tasks as assigned
• Deliver completed training on:
• Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD) 3.6 TACOPS (CIN: A-043-0001)
• Ballistic Missile Defense Interoperability (CIN: S-150-0024)
• Ballistic Missile Defense Functional Description (CIN: S-2E-1011)
• Ballistic Missile Defense Mission Planner (CIN: S-2F-0028)
• BMD Planning and Detection ( CIN: A-104-0005)
• BMD Engagement Elements (CIN: A-113-0005)
• BMD SM-3 Characteristics (CIN: A-121-0014)
• BMD Control and Doctrine (CIN: A-2F-0006)

REQUISITE SKILLS:

• US Navy NEC 1119 (with an RSC qualification), or 1143 (with an MSS qualification) and 9502
• Must have prior shipboard BMD experience
• Must possess or be able to acquire a Government SECRET security clearance
• Must be familiar with curriculum development, course maintenance and testing and computer aided instructional methods

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

B.S. in a related field and five (5) years of experience
