TYPICAL DUTIES:

  • Use computer software, computer design techniques, and computer-generated media to design new images.
  • Creates materials for interactive technologies (computer-based training, interactive courseware, web-based training, distance learning and tele-training support materials, interactive electronic technical manuals, electronic teaching or instruction tools, and electronic performance support systems)
  • Use computer-aided design systems and artistic techniques to create and revise still graphics and animations.
  • Provide CSS to the instructional development team to layout and design instructional media.  Draw storyboards to guide development during the production of computer-based training, web-based training, films, and videos.
  • Prepare the following Products/Documents/Reports, as a minimum: Products/ Documents/Reports include Computer-based Images and Graphics, Animations, Storyboards, Electronic Technical Manuals, EPSS.
  • Plans project efforts, and assigns work packages to various artists to effectively complete projects on schedule. 

 

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

AA/AS/Certificate/degree in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, or related area.

Required – One (1) year practical experience with an AA/AS/Certificate/degree in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, or related area.

Required – Three (3) year practical experience with No degree.
