NETWORK AND COMPUTER SYSTEMS ENGINEER - Orlando, FL

 

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:

Provide support to NAVAIR Training Systems Division Orlando, FL to include training systems integration into large scale distributed exercises. 

 

TYPICAL DUTIES:

  • Perform and support Federation Agreement Compliance Test tool (FACTT), Entity Blaster and Interoperability Suite quality assurance (QA) testing
  • Maintain existing QA test tools for FACTT evaluation and testing
  • Develop extensions as Federation Agreement Documents (FAD) evolve new roles and requirements
  • Update QA Test tool for rapid reconfigurations to test FAD/FACTT combinations in other federations, such as Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) and Joint National Training Capability (JNTC)
  • Assist aviation platforms compliance testing at developer’s plants and over a long haul network
  • Review and prepare changes for FACTT and Entity Blaster test tool user guides
  • Document and design the use of  QA tools developed under assigned tasks
  • Perform other duties as assigned

 

REQUISITE SKILLS:

  • Must possess or be able to acquire a Government SECRET security clearance
  • Experience with HLA and DIS
  • Experience with training systems architectures
  • Experience with Linux and Microsoft Windows administration and security
  • Experience with Cisco router configuration
  • Experience with KG-75 and KG-175 Encryptor configurations
  • Experience with HLA and DIS
  • Experience with integrating hardware and software into a training exercise

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Required Education/Experience:  BA/BS with two (2) years experience; AA/AS with three (3) years experience; Industry Certification with two (2) years experience.

 

Required software background skills: HLA, DIS, DMSO HLA 1.3 Interface Standard
