OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:
Provide instructional systems design (ISD) support an ISD model, a human performance improvement model, and human systems integration guidance. This position is located in Orlando, Florida.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Conduct analyses to identify and validate training requirements and document results of analyses.
- Design and conduct analyses in support of HSI to include selecting methodology, designing instruments, collecting and analyzing data and reporting results.
- Develop and recommend alternative training strategies for consideration by decision-makers.
- Design, develop, and implement instruction in a systematic manner. Select instructional media, materials, and equipment to meet learning objectives.
- Design, develop, and implement prototype and final courseware for interactive multi-media, computer-based, web-based, and distributed learning presentations.
- Evaluate training development and training effectiveness using formative and summative evaluation techniques.
- Provide inputs to a data base system for maintaining assigned training systems hardware, software, and courseware operational and currency status.
- Instruct client personnel on procedures, processes, and methods of operating, maintaining, revising, and enhancing the assigned training system.
- Use appropriate industry and Government standards and specifications.
- Prepare Instructional Systems design documents.
REQUISITE SKILLS:
- Must have experience with conducting (end to end) Task and Media Analysis
- Must have experience producing a Training System Functional Description (TSFD) document
- Must possess or be able to acquire a Government Secret Security Clearance.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Experience: MA/MS/Med – One (1) year; BA/BS – Two (2) years
Education: A degree in Education or related field with twenty four (24) hours in specific education areas. Instructional Systems major preferably. The twenty four (24) hours must fall within learning theory, instructional design, instructional development, evaluation, computers in education, and include four (4) of these five (5) categories.
