OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:
Provide Project Management support of NAVAIR Training Systems Division, Orlando, Florida. Performance will include project task definition and workload planning, acquisition management, funds management, and financial cost accounting.
TYPICAL DUTIES:
- Perform budgeting, addressing project and program level planning, populating, updating and revising program specific information in the business enterprise resource tools, including, as a minimum, SIGMA, Workyear Database, and Workload Assignment Agreements.
- Provide support to project leads in the performance of program tasks, respond to administrative and programmatic data calls, and provide administrative planning related to program events and day-to-day operations of assigned projects.
- Provide support in administrative planning, record keeping, data entry, communications, inventory control, and program administration related to day-to-day operations and activities of assigned projects.
REQUISITE SKILLS:
- Previous Project Management experience at NAVAIR Training Systems Division is highly desired.
- F/A-18 aircraft experience preferred
- Must possess or be able to acquire a Government Secret Security Clearance.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Required Experience: Two (2) years of Government acquisition experience; at least 1 year must be in program management.
Desired Experience: An additional two (2) years of acquisition experience, preferably in a systems program office or similar organization.
Education:
- Twenty-four (24) semester hours in accounting, business finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, and organization and management, or,
- Twenty-four (24) semester hours in Program Management and twelve (12) semester hours from among accounting, business finance, law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, and organization and management, or,
Baccalaureate degree, preferably with a major in engineering, systems management, or business, or Master’s degree, preferably with a major in engineering, systems management, business administration, or a related field of administration.
