OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:

Prepares and delivers modifications to existing training materials, including outlines, text, handouts, and tests.  Delivers completed SATCOM training courses at Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS) San Diego, CA.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Provide maintenance training for:
• Super High Frequency SATCOM   
• EHF  
• Global Broadcast Service (GBS)  
• Element Management System (EMS)
• SINCGARS
• Digital Wideband Transmission System  
• Tactical Switching System (TSS)
• Digital Modular Radio (DMR)

• Provide recommendations for curriculum changes to courses being taught. 
• Participate in training reviews as directed by the organization.
• Accomplish additional tasks as assigned.

REQUISITE SKILLS:

• Must be able to work independently and direct the work of others.
• Must have experience providing professional instruction support in Naval satellite communications.
• Must possess or be able to acquire a Government SECRET security clearance

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

Education: Bachelors degree in a related field and three (3) years of experience or nine (9) years of directly applicable experience.

Navy NEC's 1405, 1406 or 1433 required. Instructional Experience (Navy NEC 9502) required.
